The Mistletoe Story
Look, and listen children and you should see and hear
The great story of mistletoe hanging from the ceiling so near...

Your stockings are hanging by the chimney with care
With hopes to see Saint Nicholas a vision so rare

LOOK, some one has hung mistletoe from the ceiling above
With hopes of catching the one they TRULY LOVE!

Stockings for fruit, nick-knacks, and candy
Mistletoe for kissing under and it sure is handy

When you stand under mistletoe you're taking a risk
For someone to approach you and give you that ultimate BOLD kiss

When you're emptying your Christmas stocking
And the contents are discovered
Take a look at your father and mother
Underneath the mistletoe kissing one another

You as a young child may not know
Why young lovers faces glow

It is a story that needs to be forever told
Stand underneath the mistletoe to discover
Your one true secret lover!!!
Author's Notes:
