I stare at the white walls of my nearly empty bedroom An anagrammed example of my life now: boredom I glance at my wife resting peacefully If I bury my face in my pillow Perhaps I may obtain the same I long for the fun days I once had When the hardest choice I had to make Was between Jack Daniels or Crown Royal When I set my alarm for twelve After going to bed Six hours before I think these days dissipated into particles Which I inhaled And expelled again with “I do” Till death do us part is a hell of a long time Especially counting down The minutes by a flashing VCR clock That doesn’t even work

this is an intense piece, with strong words developed into strong feelings...i like the longing you present, and the ending of eventual...eternal closure?? anyhow wonderfully written, well done
