The day we meet again
You lay there next to me But your not really there Your hearts gone, but I dont know where Its drifted so far from me I wish too my heart was free To forget and forgive you And now I know its true That you dont see YOu just look right through me Your skin is so cold And you look so old Where have you gone You didnt say goodbye And all I can do is cry I loved you soo much I wish to once more feel your touch I never gopt the chance to say I was going to tell you another day But now your days are done Until the last rising of the sun And until my time is due Will I be able to tell you That you were my true mother I would never have another And I wait till the day we meet again I will wait for that day forever on end.
Author's Notes:
this poem is about my grandmother who raised me but i always hated her for leaving me when i was ten and she died recently and i am now 18 and i always wanted to tell her that i loved her but i never did and because i waited eight years my time was up and now she will never know till the the day we meet again.

Whitney, I am very sure your grandmother knows how much you really loved her. She is watching you from Heaven. She knows. :o) *S* Cynthia
