In the dark forever
Darkness has fallen over me My wings are broken I am no longer free To fly those bright beautiful skys I will never again fly that high I think to myself, as I lay in this hospital bed That I had to fall and hit my head Why couldnt I have been paralyzed Instead of losing the light in my eyes I will never again see The sky above me I will never again look Or ever read another book I might as well be dead Theres nothing left in my life ahead My days will be eternal nights Without the rays from the moonlight I am going to keep on living Because once I was told that life is a blessing I know that I will live in the dark forever So I guess black is my new favorite color.
Author's Notes:
We so often take advantage of what we have. that when we lose something important we think its the end of the world but when you lose one thing you always gain something else. so instead of wanting to die we should laugh at what weve lost and do our best to live our life to the fullest.
