Lost Lives
Clouds hang

Like weighty whales

Swallowing life’s plankton

Of laughter and song

From joyous hearts

while weeping rivers

For the lost

Author's Notes:
…thinking about the survivors of the tsunamis trying to go on with life….

Dear Cari-
Life is a strange thing-
It must be a feeling of life itself to have been surrounded by so many who did not make it and know for some reason that you are one who did-
It would certainly make me look at my life in a whole new perspective-
Best Wishes to You and Yours My Friend~
