Me, You and A Movie
I know I said that I wanted to go out tonight,
I said I wanted you to show me around

I know you're already dressed
and wondering why I'm still here sitting down

But my mind just changed
and I know you'll be upset

But I think I'll be able to deal
I'm ready to bare your frown

Let me take off your shoes
along with all of the let down

Let me change my clothes
and put on your tee-shirt as a gown

I'll unbutton your shirt
and you and I can lay around

Just me, you and a movie
I can tell that you like the way it sounds

So which movie will it be
'Love Jones', if left up to me

Let's turn off all the lights
and start our night inside instead of out on the town

Just lay your head in my lap and relax
while I rub your back

Its funny how so many things can be said
when so little is spoken between us

The way you touch my hand
as I caress your face

The way you look at me
when a certain scene takes place

I might have said that I wanted to watch a movie,
but you would better any day

And the scenes that we make are better anyway

The way we touch
The way we stare

Theres nothing in this movie that even compares

The way we kiss
The things we say

I wouldn't want this any other way

So if you ask me to turn it off
know that my answer would be 'OKAY'

It doesn't have to be me, you and a movie
just as long as its you and me

Stunning - I love it when someone finds the words that my heart hides from me. I love that last line - perfect.

that was realy sweet, i like the end, "It doesn't have to be me, you and a movie just as long as its you and me" i like that, it shows that u just want to spend time with that special someone, and what better way then to just enjoy each others company...alone lol. nice write :0)
