Was It Only Yesterday
Was It Only Yesterday my world came crashing down as you dismiss me a half a world away when I only lived in the next town How your words hurt when you said you not for me anymore for I rather face eternal hell then never to see again the one I adore Today is today again with no sunrise or sunset just a dull light that reminds me of my regrets If only I could see you again If only we could ever meet If only you see how I suffered If only you come back to me my sweet. Yes I know this is a fools dream and my chance with you is gone and I should be great full for yesterday But this heartbreak for you is so strong Everyone tells me you were not the one and I should be glad we are apart but so many memories cling with me that you are always in my heart. I go now to a darker tomorrow I go now now To a live a life I borrowed For you maybe in this other world of which I am not allowed there is that Great love but for me there is just a shroud What more can be said for the hurt can hurt no worse as I close just wanting you still wanting time to reverse Was It Only Yesterday
Author's Notes:
This work/ I don't know I just felt like writing it.I guess you could find a few failed love affairs in it. Maybe affairs that never even started because her interest in me wasn't there from the start. everyone has been brushed off by the other sex. Some hurt more then others. It depends how much you start formulating lifes plans in your mind even before she says yes to the first date. Yes I sound like a 58 year old teenager. All I am trying to do is pass my experience on to teenagers so maybe they won't hurt as much.

You wrote this with such emotion, and yes, there are many, many of us who can relate to it...sadly enough...sometimes life doesnt seem fair, but then things happen for a reason...sometimes life is just too complicated for me to figure out...you are an excellent writer...
