BUSHIDO
The way of the warrior,
the code of the samurai;
This is the way they live,
this is the way they die.

There is no other way,
and honor is above all;
Whenever duty rings,
they must answer the call.

They live and die by the sword,
for them this is the only way;
They do not look at tomorrow,
they only live for today.

Honesty and a life that is true,
courage in the face of all danger;
Compassion given to all life,
courtesy given to every stranger.

Sincerity in everything they do,
duty when their master commands;
Loyalty to their shogun,
and a watchful eye over his lands.

Death before dishonor,
in his life that is pure and true;
The only way to redeem his soul,
is to perform the act of seppuku.

The way of the warrior,
the code of the Samurai;
This is the way they live,
it is the way they die.

Their beliefs are cut and dried...no if, ands, or buts about it! You've detailed the code of the samurai in a way that makes it crystal clear.
Congratulations! =))

Death before dishonour...I wonder what kind of world that would be? If we all lived this way, perhaps we'd think twice on certain issues before we acted...another superb write Joe....left me pondering...
