My words will dazzle you
I will make you feel warm inside,
I will cheer you up when you are blue,
and in me you can always confide.

I will always give you some flowers,
and I will hold open the door,
I will amaze you with my powers,
and even clean and mop the floor.

Yes I will help around the house,
and do whatever the deed,
I will make the perfect spouse,
and provide you whatever you need.

I will give you chocolate treats,
and always say the right thing,
I will sweep you off of your feet,
and make your heart sing.

For me, chivalry is not yet dead,
I am the perfect romeo,
I am a great lover in bed,
you will always moan so!

This is the hope of every lover, man and woman, to be able to give, but alas, we are but human. We can consider ourselves lucky if we are able to bring our imperfectness close enough to accomplish for a time, this, once in a lifetime. Your confident poem was fine reading and congratulations on your medal, joia

See what that Shakespeare does to a person...has that effect on me every time too. =))

So...hey Joe, do you climb balconies too?

You DO know how to treat a lady.
After this poem you will have to chase them away with a big stick! *wink*

Sweet words Romeo...for sure!!!

Comment By: FreeGlata on February 8, 2005 12:50:44 PM Report
Wow, Joe!
Well, I have to say that I am
honoured if I inspired this...It
is quite a great dedication!
I agree with Lynn....why are there never
men like you where I live???
This is just amazing, and it is a GREAT resume,
as someone else said. What I want to know
is, how the heck have you avoided the snares
of matrimony this long?
Thank you for showing me that chivlary really
isn't a thing of the past, and that REAL
men really DO exist! I was afraid that
Chilvary had been replaced by Chauvinism,
which I despise! Most men are afraid that their
buddies will ridicule them for being someone
that cares. Thank you for being different :)
