Intoxicated
Through fields of grass, where I could not see,

I would search and still find thee;

Though oceans part our bodies, tis true,

I could still find my way to you.

In densest fog, in forests thick;

I could seek thee out past all of it.

You dwell inside my heart of hearts,

You intoxicated my soul from the start.

There is no place without you now,

Your haunting of me I allow.

omg I love this poem! I can relate to it so much & is so very spooky how this fits a conversation I shared earlier today with someone special!
Even the grass has a symbolic message to me, as does the oceans! Great poem, great write! In my favourites already!
