Times Like These

As the years burn and times fades away

And my memories go with the passing days

Itís times like these that go by so fast

Leaving me to think about the past

Looking at the sand as it expires from the hour glass

Watching as each second of every day comes to pass

Iím thinking about that time last week

Were you called me up just to speak

My blood went warm and my hands began to shake

My nerves decreased with every breath Iíd take

And itís times like these that go so quick

Where each season passes with the hands as they tick

Iím so alone watching the yearís burn

Looking at the clock as the little hand turns

And its times like these when I miss you the most

And Iím wishing that I could hold you close

And when times stands still

And these frozen wounds will never heal

And Iím so alone in a prison of isolation

And all I can feel is lonely desperation

Itís times like these I wish I could drop

So I could make these clocks of guilt stop

Itís time I forgive and forget

So I donít have to relive the regret

I wish I could stop time to be with you

So if you died I could to

So when youíre sad I could freeze your tears

Hold you until your pain disappears

As times advances

And I relive my final chances

Itís times like these, its time like these

That I wish this pain would freeze
