My Final Goodbye

Iím writing this letter to you

To explain what Iím about to do

Please donít be angry, please donít cry

As this is the last time youíll hear of me before I die

And after you read this note

Youíll understand the words that I wrote

Iím sorry I have no other choice

Iíve thought long and hard and consulted my inner voice

Iíve already decided that this is my fate

And before you realise itíll be too late

Iím going to kill myself, you canít stop me Iíll already be dead

No longer to share these thoughts in my head

And Iím sorry but the last time we touched was our last kiss

And that doesnít excuse the reasons why Iíve done this

Itís not because I donít love you

Because itís true I really do

But itís because my life is unbearable

The things my parents done to me are so terrible

So terrible it would make your hands shake

And so shameful it would make your heart break

Andthese feelings of guilt are too hard to take

And for years now Iíve been living with my mistakes

Why didnít I do this, why didnít I speak out against my fears

Why did I let my life get like this, why have I suffered for so many years

So many nights now I have dreamt of regret

Dreamt of a previous life that I cannot forget

Thought of all those bad things that broke me down

And all the people who pushed me around

But Iím sorry that I left you with all my misery

And just empty memories of me

Iíll miss all the times we spent together

And all the things weíve done I will keep forever

Iíll miss those nights were weíd talk until the sun rose

Iíll miss wearing all the clothes that you chose

Iíll miss travelling millions of miles

Just for that one smile

But what I miss most is when I use to stay up and watch you sleep

But thatís a past time because as I write this letter my wrists have started to seep

And just so you know itís me, I left my name under the bloodstain

To show you how my life was infected with pain

And this letter is my final goodbye

Just to show you exactly why

Iím about to die

I love the way this flows, well done. But I agree with Haylee here I hope you really aren't going to kill yourself.

"But what I miss most is when I use to stay up and watch you sleep"

"And just so you know itís me, I left my name under the bloodstain"

WOW, this poem has me sobbing so badly...my favourite two lines are above. But the line that actually made my stomach tense & knock me sick was...

"And Iím sorry but the last time we touched was our last kiss"

*wipes away a real tear*
