Mind Tricks

Walls slowly enclosing me in
Horror grips my very soul
The warmth of safety leaves me
As the bucket of freezing cold danger dumps on me
The sound of my own blood curdling screams
Scares me so... that my hair turns white

Why won't it stop?
Why must it keep doing this to me?
Mind and body has no more energy
I slip deeper into it's clutches
Again, like always....
