One More Tommorrow

Not asking for much
Been blessed many times
Some days are rough
Mostly they're fine

I don't have a fortune
That's alright with me
I know what has worth
Took a long time to see

Here's what I'm asking
Do you think I could borrow
The joy in a sunrise
Lord, give me one more
Tomorrow

{Bridge}
One more tomorrow
To gaze at the sea
One more tomorrow
That's all I need

One more tomorrow
To love someone dear
One more tomorrow
And thank you for all
The years

Author's Notes:

Each day we live is a gift

We all forget that, sometimes

What a wonderful song. It rolls off the tongue. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is unknown and today is a gift. That's why it's called the present. jp

Great point here Len dear. Sometimes we do forget. But this is a beautiful reminder.

Only you dear, only you......

Hey Lenny, I'm holding tight onto today...and hoping for a tomorrow just like you...in fact, I want to do the very same things as you...hey, you wanna watch the sunrise with me tomorrow? Maybe we could go down by the sea. It's a package deal because ummm, I happen to be quite a dear too! *winks*

You say it isn't much to ask for Lenny but a sunrise, the sea and love...well, I think it's the full meal deal. *smiles*

A wonderful message of satisfaction and gratitude is woven through these lyrics. Good on ya mate! =))

~Barbara~ *still smiling*

What a beautiful write and so very true. The past is gone, the future hasn't arrived, but today is a gift that's why it's called The Present!
