Fingers of Night

Darkness catches the light of day
for hours its lovely wonder does stay

The silent moon waits for the fingers of night
the winking stars don't like the morning light

 Dancing shadows across the fields
and praires of our land

Wet fog crawls in slowely as it takes command

Whispers of thought tease the soft breeze
loving sighs carcess the living strong trees

Listening clouds grace the skies
of vivid purples  veils

Listen as you hear wild coyotes that always  wails

An old hoot owl can be heard
from the oak trees above

The dawning light sweet calls
of the morning doves

This beautiful. I can envision the picture of me in the desert, night, moon shining brightly, the peace and serenity, enjoying the positive energy of time to self before the negative hustle and bustle of the day comes. I sometimes hate to see her(The night) go away.
I write at nights also by the way. It is my zone.
Always hoping you well.
Look forward to hearing more from you.
