If These Scars Could Speak

If these scars could speak

They’d tell you why im lying here alone

With my wrists bleeding

Dying all alone

If these scars could speak

They’d tell you about my bad life

And why im so addicted

To this jagged knife

If these scars could speak

I’m pretty sure that they’d scream

So you could understand

That this isn’t a dream

If these scars could speak

They’d tell you tales of despair

Tell you real slow

So you’d have the time to care

If these scars could speak

I wouldn’t find it hard to transmit how I feel

Unless they disappeared

And begun to heal

If these scars could speak

Then you’d know how much I’ve been through

All the bruises, all the pain

Nothing compared to how much I miss you

If these scars could speak

You’d see that im struggling to hold on

And there’s nothing you can do

Im too far gone

If these scars could speak

The words would set themselves in your mind

A silent reminder

But still so many left to find

Oh, If these scars could speak

You would see that I’m falling apart

And that all these scars

Are staining my heart
