I cannot laugh yet I will not cry
To our friendship now, a last goodbye
You laughed and jeered, and called me names
Your new friends join in all these games

The secrets we shared, the one only you knew
You never took it seriously, and yet the problem grew
The gap just seems to widen and thereís not much I can say
I just hope that you mature, and I make it through another day

It hurts so bad I cringe inside the times that you come near
And although you know this happens, little do you care
You have your new friends now, you donít need me anymore
The friendship we once had is locked behind closed doors

I guess it hurts to watch you, how you have changed toward me now
Maybe I can try and save it but I fear I donít know how
I donít know what to do now, to leave it and walk on
Or to go back and repair, something so badly torn

I think that I am sorry but this friendship I will lose
It doesnít mean that much to you, just something to abuse
I just hope that when youíre saddened, or feeling rather lost
That the decision that you made , was worth what it cost.

Author's Notes:
i guess somethings you just have to leave behind and move on from, no matter how much it hurts

This is so sad. I hope everything works out for you. It's a great write, though, filled with a lot of emotion. Well done.

I hate having to do that. I did that not too long ago but hey, your better off without them. You deserve to be treated great. Sad poem but I like it a lot, just like the rest. =o]
