Life left this house
when she walked away,
now only spiders,
in cobwebs play.

The dust it lingers
beneath sofas and chairs,
they all walk around it,
without notice or care.

The mail is strewn on tabletops,
looks as though noone  has ever heard of a mop;
laundry sits begging in piles on the floor,
There used to be life here,
but not anymore.

Sad that a house can go all to hell,
because it's inhabitants  prefer just a shell.

Seems that a woman is the life of a home...sort of the heart, so to speak...and when she leaves, the home dies. Sad but true...and hon this is great!
