Wow! The title caught my eye, and hahahahha!!! All of this is so so true! By the 4th one I had an ear to ear grin and by the last line I was cracking up... Thanks for the enjoyment, I should be a little more open-minded on how hard I am on my parents... -Chelsea

LoL. Great Write. Another one you could add would be one my mom uses all the time. *Do You Think I was Born Yesterday?* I dont really think she really wants to hear mine and my brothers answer lol. Anyways, great write.

hehe... i like this... words like: "Would you care to explain..." and "I've paid a lot of money to find this information out, so you better start talking now"... the first one is asking for trouble and the second one is just... eech... melodramatic? lol yeah, the latter one actually happened to me with my mother when i was a teenager... but i have to say, my mom wasn't well and had her own take on reality... :) thanks for sharing this... we definitely can all relate to this in our own way :)
later... xx

Very good--I heard them when I was growing up and used them when my kids were. "Did you just fall off the turnip truck?" That's an Arkansas one I think. I never heard of it being used anywhere else. I really did like this.

OK how-about "Use your head for something other than a hat rack" - This was a favorite of my Dad's.
