Storyteller

Internal stories
never shared,
all because you thought,
noone cared.

Little saplings
of inner strength,
for when you were close
to the very brink.

Grew to trees,
mighty and tall;
within the leaves
you hid them all.

Sulllen days
in winter depression,
chased happiness
further into regression.

Self expression
discouraged at best;
anonimity welcomed,
uniqueness, a guest.

Never one
to stand out in a crowd,
voice talks in whispers,
"Do not be proud."

Afraid to stand
on your own two feet,
Fearing challenges,
the results you meet.

I say to you,
a spirit broken,
set your stories free;
Peace will find your heart at last,
and joy will with you be.

Author's Notes:
So many have been brow beaten into thinking that no one cares...I do..Tell your stories, you are the only one that knows them, and no two are ever the same...
