~The Orgin Of The Rose~

There once was a beautiful goddess named Rosa Blanca. She was by far the most beautiful goddess in all of Spain. She had long, soft, black hair, and a beautiful complexion. She was a very happy and joyous person. Everyone loved to be around her because she brought joy to her surroundings. But there was one person, he was madly in love with her. His name was Javier. His heart melted at the sight of Rosa. But she wanted nothing to do with him. Well, Rosa loved to lay around with all the beautiful flowers. She loved the aroma and all the gorgeous colors. She would lay out in the garden for hours..just admiring. Rosa woke up one morning, antisipating to go to the garden. She got out of bed in a rush, and ran down the side of the river, to the garden. She stumbled across a few rocks on the way, but other than that she enjoyed her short journey. When she got to the garden, one flower seemed to catch her eye. It was the most beautiful of them all, just like Rosa. Rosa fell in love with the flower. She couldn't take her eyes off it. Suddenly something seemed to be wrong. She felt a little prick on her finger.."Ouch!" she screamed. Suddenly she turned around because she heard a noise in the bushes. To her surprise it was Javier. "Are you okay my love?" he called out. Rosa looked surprised. Her heart started to beat faster and..faster. "No I'm not okay, look at what pain you brought me" Rosa said. Javier was heart broken, and he stormed off into the woods. Rosa couldn't help but feel a little guilty. She ran after Javier screaming "Hey you! WAIT!" Javier turned around, astonished because it was his love, Rosa. "Why am I the love of your life? Why not somebody else?" she asked. "Because you are by far the most beautiful goddess I've ever seen, the sight of you makes my heart melt. And now you've found something almost as beautiful as you, this flower you seem to have found" said Javier. Rosa blushed and smiled at Javier. She gave him the flower as a token of her love. Javier named it "the rose" after the love of his life. For he almost found something as beautiful as Rosa Blanca..the rose...
