Ha Ha Said the Clown

Ha Ha Said the Clown

The odd clown and his crazy quartet

Started playing the golden clarinet

Millions of notes escaped into the air

I stood up and boogied on my chair

“Ha, ha”, said the clown

My long purple dress began whirling

And my curly auburn hair was spinning

I fell off the chair onto the floor

A bloodcurdling lion commenced to roar

“Ha, ha”, said the clown

I stared at the dreadful beast

And suddenly asked for a priest

The music slowly soothed the animal

Who turned into a guardian angel

“Ha, ha”, said the clown

The angel looked ever so handsome

That I abruptly fell on my little bum

He invited me to a sensual dance

What a wonderful love trance

“Ha, ha”, said the professor

“Daydreaming again, Sam Cinder?”

“Ha, ha”, said the clown...
