One Of...Bribes

A bribe, why so evil, just from where did this come?
I just wonder, who first tried this, just to help aid them some.
Maybe a thief, or a robber, or one who liked to kill.
Maybe a felon, or a convict, or to make some one spill.

Now I still wonder, just what could it do.
Just to what degree does this question pursue?
Who? What? When? Why?
For what reason? To what extent? Could it really get by?

But now, I grow tired, so this poem must end.
A bribe, in conclusion, is a way that rules bend.
I guess it could save you, if it's how you choose to defend.
But to get caught is deadly, and your life it might end.

Author's Notes:

Ok, two trains leave thier stations at the exact same time.  One train leaves Russia going 75 miles per hour.  The second train leaves New York going 60 miles per hour.  Ok now your question is, Do people still ride trains?  And more importantly how do they get across the water?

(That's just a random joke of amusement between me and one of my friends a while back.)

Well, my poem about bribes, I've just been sitting here for the last hour literally typing it as it came.  Well, comments open and appreciated as always.  Hope it made atleast some sence.
