Fire Door

"Who opened the fire door and started the alarm,"
beeping so quickly. it'll do my ears harm!

So high piched and pearsing it's driving me mad,
I'd much rather sit here feeling morose and sad.

But no, it's still beeping, no-ones come to shut it down,
the manager or someone else cannot be found.

All this noise I tell you, is no fun,
I think I'll go out to the truck and get me a gun.

But wait!  Someone has come with a bunch of keys,
and he's shutting it off, now my nerves can un-freeze.

Funny how some things can edge you or bore,
it can even come from an open fire door!

Author's Notes:

Someone inadvertantly broke the seal
on a Wal-Mart fire door.

No... it was'nt me!

Uh oh! I can't stand it when the smoke alarm goes off here at the house! I can't imagine the piercing sound of an alarm in WalMart!
my son pulled the fire alarm at school on the last day a couple of years ago...needless to say, NO one was amused! Yeah, it WAS him...they caught him on video doing it...
This is cute!
Hugs...

You have a GUN in your truck?? Hmmm??? Okay then...well, ummm, I'll remember to be very nice and quiet when around you. *smiles*

This is cute! I find if you put your fingers in your ears that the noise is tolerable. =))

As noisy as it usually is in a Wal-Mart, I am surprised you could distinguish that noise from all the others!!! Good write.
