Spirtual Sisters

For two people I deeply care

An intimate poem I now share

These two women I hold dear

Show me there is nothing to fear

My spiritual sisters that are true

I have not one but I have two

Sister of Liquid, heart and mind

Always gentle and very kind

Going through life in free form

Always cold but always warm

Caring, thoughtful and always fair

Like the ocean she’s always there

Trying hard to make her see

She’s as pretty as the sea

Sister of Earth, wisdom and soul

Wiser than most people I know

The pillar of support she will lend

When your wits are at their end

Teacher of grace, student of time

School and sister get on fine

Like the Earth offers support

When you’re tired or distraught

My two sisters you now know

Earth and Liquid in my soul

Author's Notes:

Just a little something I had floating in my mind for a while, hoping i'm still on a roll for half decent poems to make this tribute work.

They should know who they are by now.

A brother of words, and so much more
You switched on the light, opened the door
Coaxed me out, made me open my eyes
My guardian angel you came in disguise.

I am part of your ocean, I'll always remain
I'll bug you for life, I'll be a pain
Insult you every day, it's what I do best
I insist, I don't mind, no need to protest.

hehe.. you don't know what you have let yourself in for Mister!
