Awesome write, but don't play me the fool,
Sword in my hand, I challenge you to a duel.
No magic, just our blades in hand,
winner take all, even this fair land.
Loser bows his head in disgrace and defeat,
and Queen Barbara claims her rightful seat.
I am a prince and Barbara is a queen,
our child has so much loyalty to be seen.
You are a king and Kristin is a wench,
your child will stink of such a stench!!

Author's Notes:
Your write was smart and well thought out Dennis, but mine, well witty is a word I would use! All in fun, as usual.

I don't think so, a duel with no powers, I think you hit your head to much. What are you going not fight with a stick from the street. When I kicked you out a took everything. You don't have any else. Have fun on the streets, poor Barbara, you have no royal blood, before you met me you were a peasant. So spare me.

Dearest Prince Joe,
I fear this dual shall make a dark mark upon the history of the kingdom. I am deeply moved that you defend my honor and that of our child, thank you darling. You are worth more than all of the riches in the kingdom...and your love is more powerful than any of the King's powers.

Although the King would have us ousted from the Kingdom...NEVER can he remove the royal blood which flows through each of our veins...and those of our beloved child.

Be safe my love. I will kiss your sweet lips in my dreams...a million times, perhaps more.

~Joe's Queen...Barbara~

OMG! A duel! I hope nobody will die. I'm scared... Very good write, Joe.

A duel? Sounds like an intersting choice of way to square off, for the time being anyways...
And indeed, witty is a word that could be used to decribe this...
Fun poem, nice job
