Quiet Night
Miles of empty air space;
the silence like a stone,
cast upon this chest of mine,
like one I've never known.

Despair it settles down on me,
like a heavy woolen  cover;
Keeping me from waking to life,
so lonesome for my lover.

Loneliness, yes, but sometimes writing it out alleviates some of the pain~ May you bond with the one you love and float away into the softness of foreever....
