Still be here

Every time I breathe
I only breathe to cry
And Iíll never know why
How you could just die?

And every time I smile
Iíll wonder for awhile
If youíre looking down on me
And maybe you can see
Just what youíre missing

Did your life flash before your eyes
Did you see all of the times we shared together
Did you think of who would find you
That weíd be apart forever
All I can do is ask these questions
The never answered why
As I drift through life a shadow
Why didnít you say anything,
Or did you and I missed it?

Every time I breathe
I only breathe to cry
And Iíll never know why
How you could just die?

And every time I smile
Iíll wonder for awhile
If youíre looking down on me
And maybe you can see
Just what youíre missing

I know everyday the sun comes up
And thereís always another chance
I could have helped you through
We could have talked things through
But all I want to know now is why
Why could you just not sit down and ring me
What made you keep smiling all the time
why could you not cry and let it all out
cause then maybe Iíd still have you here with me

and I wonder why
as I sit and cry
look to the sky
are you up there?

Will I ever know
What made you go
Oh how I need you so
And oh how I miss you

In your time of need you left me
Was it me that failed you
Will I wonder this forever
Oh how I miss you
And how I wonder
Why

Why was it that you had to leave
Why is it now we have to grieve
Why couldnít you just talk it though
You know we still all love you
Iíd forgive you for anything
What was so bad that you couldnít ring
Now all I got is to wonder why
Try get my answers from the endless sky

Iím sorry it came to this
I just canít handle this
Iíve no more tears to cry
Iíve got to say goodbye

Goodbye my friend I knew so well
I canít believe I didnít see your hell
I just hope you knew I was there till the end
And Iíll still be here forever my friend

Every time I breathe
I only breathe to cry
And Iíll never know why
How you could just die?

And every time I smile
Iíll wonder for awhile
If youíre looking down on me
And maybe you can see
Just what youíre missing
