I'm Beat ! -a Rictameter-

I'm Beat !

I worked all night

Twelve hours is a long shift

Not much time for personal stuff

But the money sure helps keep the bills paid

Coming home to a happy wife,

Makes it all seem worthwhile

A bath, then bed,

Boy do I know this feeling and her mood really can make all the difference. Excellent testimony to reality.

You know? Its not necessarily the hours we work...its the thought or knowlege we have someone to come home to, that gives us the reason and the energy to go on..
great writing Bruce,

Hi Bruce! Good to see a new post from you, my friend! Also good to see that you are back in the work force and having the bill-paying stress load relieved!
Sending hugs, and a few smiles for this cute write...
