Off to the castle we go!

So the time has come to go along,
we're all finally off and away.
We shall soon reach Simmoral,
in give or take a day.

A sorceror awaits us at the Castle,
he's already waiting there.
I supose he may be slightly bored,
but his boredom shall not long bear.

Over the river and throught the woods,
we'll even go by a lake.
I must admit it's the scenic route,
but much more fun to take.

Night's now come and sunset has past,
in mourning once more we start.
The Queen has gone off on her horse,
when she gets back we will depart.

Move left than right and climb a hill,
and get warmed by sunshines way.
Hey, where'd this forest come from?
Oh yeah, I just flew over it on my way...

It's ok, just give me a second,
I'll go make sure if I may.
You see that path off to the left?
It's easier so to say.

Sorry but I kinda forgot,
that the forest was on the map;
but it's okay, we won't lose time,
it's just an inconvenient gap.

Now that nothing else is in the way,
back on path, I won't deter.
You know there is a faster path,
I'll take it if you prefer.

We're soon be at the end of path,
the one which was derrived.
Congratulation, here's your Castle,
we've finally arrived.

So, now we're at Simmoral,
let's all have some fun.
Such a beautiful Castle in the rising sun.
The place is real big, but what do you know?
Is there anymore danger?  No people, no.

Author's Notes:
Well, enjoy you're Castle.  I guess I'm not the only one who know's how cool it looks now.  Hope it was safe enough of a path...

Oh hey Phoenix...I think your horse knew the way, not YOU!! hahaha This had me smiling {and eating dust} all the way to Simmoral...scenic route indeed!! I now know every hair on the back of your wonderful head...I should, I watched it for what seemed like ten long days. What's with a man not wanting to ask for directions??? *smiles*

I want the big room...the one that has the best security in the can't be too trusting, we must remember the EVIL we left behind. I'm not sure if we are sixth sense is humming, telling me that we are NOT! {actually, I read the capture of the White Knight before I read this poem and I'm all in a huff...imagine that RAT sneaking in like that..grrrrrr, he is going to pay, BIG TIME!!}

I loved the journey Phoenix...and the undertones of humor within this poem. Good stuff!!!

{no jumping on the new beds now...ya hear!!!}

The scenic route is always best, when one has the liberty to take it. Rest assured, the best of spells awaits those who care to take up residence at Castle Simmoral. Excellent work, as always, Phoenix!
