~Forever Blue~

I know I've never told you
in the hurried rush of days
How much your friendship helps me
in a thousand little ways

You've played such a part
in all I do or try to be
I want to tell you thank you
for being friends with me

You've done so much for me
that you don't even know
Having you for a friend
has been a real boost to my ego

When I first met you
my mind was all mixed up
My self esteem was really low
and you helped build that up

You do all these wonderful things
just by being you
You are such a great person
that I just wish you knew

Our friendship means the world to me
I'd do anything for you
If I ever lost our friendship
I'd be forever blue
