~I Miss You~

I miss you already,
and it's only been a day.
I love you so dearly,
what more can I say.

Having you gone,
is causing me strife.
I want to be with you,
for the rest of my life.

I'm not the only one,
who is missing you.
Poor Rex is moping,
and feeling blue.

Tyler misses his nightly rollie dog,
I just don't do it as well as Dad.
He is acting real tough,
but I know he is sad.

We can't wait til you come home,
only eleven days more,
Til I can hold you in my arms,
and give you hugs galore.

I know you love me,
and I love you too,
I know you'll be back in my arms,
til then hugging your pillow will have to do..

Look hard for a job,
while you're out there my dear.
So we can move to California,
and get away from here.

You know I'd follow you anywhere,
even to the moon.
Just tell me when we're leaving,
and I'll be ready soon.

I know the California night sky,
is beautiful where you are.
Look at it tonight and I'll be looking to,
and we can wish together upon a star.

Author's Notes:

I miss you Honey.
The count down to your safe return has already begun.
