~Special Olympics~

Volunteering at the Special Olympics,
softball tournament was a special treat.
Making lunches for over a 1000 people,
so they could have something to eat.

Meeting new people,
and making new friends.
What a great way,
to spend your weekends.

I got to meet the people,
that Fletch works with everyday.
He was supossed to go with me,
but a family emergency pulled him away.

I still got to go without him,
cause I was so looking forward to being there.
I was upset when I thought I couldn't go,
but his boss said that would be unfair.

The people Fletch works with are so great,
they volunteer to help out the community.
They do it for the love of God,
they don't get paid a penny.

Tyler went with me,
and we had a lot of fun.
Laughing and joking,
and meeting everyone.
