~Flair for Color~

Purple shirt and aqua shorts
are my flair for colors while relaxing.
My hubby, he laughs, and calls me a dork.
His taunts can get quite taxing.

My dogs, they love me so,
and don't care about my odd mix of color.
But when someone comes ringing the doorbell,
I definitely make a run for cover.

The dogs will bark and carry on so
when someone dares to ring the bell.
I think itís simply hilarious sometimes.
My hubby though thinks it's pure hell.

As the visitor arrives inside of our home,
the dogs will keep up their commotion.
Their tails wag very furiously,
then eagerly they nose for attention.

I finally come out of my hiding spot
to welcome our frequent visitor.
I no longer care about my hideous clothes.
The visitor is just our daughter.

Author's Notes:
Just having fun at my hubby's expense....he really didn't call me a dork. He is too sweet to ever do that....

Karen - Ah the pleasures of being a woman, I guess; the opportunity to dress colorfully as you feel and, by enlarge, nothing ever being thought strange of it. Let a male do it and everyone notices. Enjoy the gift you been given.

Love your humor, Karen~! And, who says that purple and aqua don't make a girl feel great???....(smile) I loved this, as it is uplifting and full of fun~!
