WALK IN HIS SHOES

Signature Creations by
PANDORASBOX8

Today I cried a river for someone's son
People less fortunate others shun
A Stranger walking miles in tattered shoes
Feet sore bleeding needing attention bruised

Help must assist looked at me so strange
Please lady spare me a cup of tea some change
Walking in circles his laces broken
What's his life story words left unspoken

Authorities don't want to know wash their hands
No care in the community karma understands
Closing down homes where they need to be cared
Makes me so sad ten course dinner for the blairs

Lost alone blood seaping from his heart
God help him could you do a small part
Life on the streets a precious pair of shoes
Thank you he replied may god bless you enthuse

Love Angelxxxxxxx
Author's Notes:
A gift so small yet so precious to another........

So next time you walk past a person less fortunate than yourself think if it was you in their shoes

Very true and very expressive poem that you have here my friend.  My wife and I sometimes help out another and sometimes don't.  It depends on the situation, and we notice too that some people just are always there in a certain place like that is their regular job not a place to temporarily try to get help.

A heartwarming story, truth be told, the smallest things done can mean everything to some other person.
