~Knee Pain~

Got the results of,
the MRI on my knee.
Seems an operation,
is what would be best for me.

I've been in severe pain,
for two months now.
It hurts just to walk but,
I manage to still work somehow.

Finally went to the doctor,
cause I couldn't take the pain.
She asked why I waited so long,
the pain must be driving me insane.

I'm scared of what will happen,
when they cut into my knee.
But all I can do is pray,
that from this pain I'll finally be free.

I'm living my life from,
one pain pill to the next.
I hate having the feeling that,
my mind is totally vexed.

To be able to walk again,
and my knee be pain free.
Not have to walk with a limp,
do things for myself and not feel needy.

I hate this feeling of,
not being able to do things on my own.
I've taken care of myself,
ever since I've been grown.

"But all I can do is pray, "

That's where my knee pain comes from.  I don't do enough bending  of it.

Tracy - It is one the greatest aggravations of growing older, your joints and bones keep reminding you that: You Aren't Young No More. I really appreciate what you are going through and hope that things will improve. Try some Glucosamine/Chondrotin it has improved things for me. Smile.

Oh my dear sweet soul, these are MY knees you have described here. And I HEAR your feelings of helplessnes LOUD and CLEAR. Best of luck. Thank you for this, as I sit, a shot of cortizone in each knee, hoping I become pain free.......*sigh* ~Pam
