You travel through your life with such discretion
Until you come to a road that goes in every direction
You wonder if the road you choose is the way to go
Will you choose wisely, you most certainly hope so
You fear the traps and pitfalls of the choices made
Wince at times at the cost of the dues that are paid
Still you head down the dark mysterious road
Not knowing if your shoulders can bear the load
No matter down whatever road you may have been
There is no one who has lived life without any sin
In every direction all these roads look the same
Make your choice without apprehension or shame
Live your life as you choose but take special care
For no matter what happens I will always be there

Soft spoken words read easy, very well done. The reassurance in the last line certainly is the foundation of the emotions.

Your heart shines through in this one, Henry...showing the readers the TRUE beauty of a person who is honest and caring, and always willing to help another bear the burdens of life. I'm very blessed to know you :) and thank you for always being here for me...
Hugs...all kinds of hugs!

A wonderful gesture of true friendship. We all have our chosen paths, our own crosses to bear, but knowing we have a friend to turn to can make it that much easier.
A lovely gift Henry. Nicely done. ~Pam
