A Slow Walk of the Beach

A slow walk on the beach

Walking hand in hand

Our destiny and names

Written in the sand

The tide will come to shore

And try to wash us away

But what we have is true

And it will always stay

Rocks just beside the beach

Like objects in our path

Anyone who tries to stop us

Will fully feel my wrath

The sun sets on the sea

The perfect image of peace

Somehow all our problems

For the moment seem to cease

If we wait out long enough

Then the tide will leave the shore

And the waves of problems

Will trouble us no more

A slow walk on the beach

Walking hand in hand

Thinking to myself

“Life is pretty grand”

Author's Notes:

Inspired by a true story

For as long as I live I will never forget the Beach in Port Talbot I can still see it clearly now and it will always holda special little place in my heart. I remember how it made my heart race as I walked hand in hand with Michelle along it and when wrote our names in the sand and the dog that was over protective of every stick it found. But the beach also calmed me down one night when I was out there alone and it reminded me that some times things will get a little rocky and those waves will crash in but stay strong and the tide will go out again. The only thing more beautiful than that beach was the girl walking on it alongside me.

Apologies to all who are Anti-Love and have problem been close to being sick for most of my newest writes, if you want to message me I'll give you future warning on which post's to avoid ;-)
