AUTUMN MIST
Gray washed autumn morning

Shines brighter the fall yellow

Whistle notes hang in the crisp

By jaunty merry fellow

The rain has softened footsteps

And muffled scenes in mellow

Shyly watches little bunny

From 'neath a leaf umbrella

Shades of gray hang heavy

Almost-mist coats the day

Season's clock looks and sets

On time.."please step this way"

Lovely poem joia. You describe so well the soft, muted colours and sounds of autumn. I specially like the little bunny. A charming piece of work - well, it sure charmed me, at any rate. Well done.

I love it, joia. I've seen this day, and you're right; "Gray washed autumn morning/Shines brighter the fall yellow". You're right about the rest of it too. I love fall. Well done. Happy to see you. ML
