Introducing The Kiss Series ~ First Kiss

First Kiss

Full of innocence
But dizzy from excitement
No passion
Just raw material
 Later to be refined
Nonetheless
It was divine
Unforgettable
And soft, moist
Trembling lips
Overwhelmed by the newness
Pulled back
Scared and ran away
Then ran back for another

Author's Notes:

Inspired by Mr Lou and Sensual Sorceress poems about kisses

I present my own series on the ever wonderful

...a picture of puppy love...sealed in a memory!  "no passion, just raw material, later to be refined"  I loved that teaching each other to kiss part...♥

The brevity of the poem is part of the point, isn't it?  Ah, but the memorie linger on.

A kiss surely to build a dream on.
I liked this a great deal. ~Pam

Great. Short and sweet, to the point. A talent I don't have as I seem to be long-winded...
