~What Rose Would You Like~

Rose Red

Rose White

Today these roses will fight

For the chance

To be bought for a lover

Rose Red

Rose White

Who will win this elegant fight?

Beautiful flowers of nature’s ground

Which rose will be home bound

They stand tall

And there scent gives away

A lover, woman or man

Walk to the rose

With money in his or her hand

He/her reaches out for the rose

But which one did he/her choose?

Author's Notes:

Okay, decide what rose would you prefer.

Personally I prefer white roses- talking 'real life' here and not metaphorically or symoblically. Sweet peas are a favourite of mine - unfortunately not in season at the moment. Your poem has made me think about choices though.

If it's for a lover then it has to be the red one, cause red is for love. The white rose is for truth and innocence. very pretty write.
