~~~~I'll Never Change (And I'm Glad)~~~~
My thoughts seem to drift in and out,
Only ever half forming so I don't know what they're about,
But to me that's perfectly okay,
I am quite content to leave things that way.
I'm in my comfortable dreamy world,
Where all mysteries become unfurled.
I smile to myself and sigh with self satisfaction,
If you asked me to change then I wouldn't a fraction,
I am totally happy with just being me,
I hope that is something that you can see,
So don't be thinking of asking me to change,
I'd just laugh, for I could never rearrange,
I am too at home with who I am to think who I might be,
If ever I agreed to let you alter me.
A decision most people must decide for themselves, not be forced into. Great work!
this is a very great way to feel. I have always felt that you can not love another without loving yourself first. Brilliant write I like your style.
