Bloody Hands

He is too frightened and ashamed to stare

But feels the warmth and knows it’s there

Feeling so sick now his vision distorts

Feels the blood run down his shorts

Splashes as it runs down to the floor

He stands and lets it bleed some more

Wanting so badly to bleed himself dry

On the off chance that the evil will die

But still the evil inside will not go

Eventually the blood stems in flow

His jeans from blue turns to red

And his soul is suddenly dead

Used to have dreams this young boy

Now turned into a perverts toy

Always afraid feeling on show

Scrubbing a stain that won’t go

Such a small toilet seemed so large

And evil prison and you was in charge

The anger inside me I can’t let go

Just trying my best to not let it show

Telling adults of the man with sin

Didn’t think they’d not touch him

“You have to arrest him, you must!”

Instead all you did was break my trust

Hating himself for fulfilling demands

Staring down at red bloody hands

Author's Notes:

I dedicate this to all my brothers and sisters around the world who feel the pain.

May you forever be strong.

Strength comes from the determination to make it into word form, on a page to see, to peruse, and to set to flame if necessary....A gripping write, one of great sorrow, but one of hope in its voice....
