Stories told,
pages turned,
Some new, some old,
Knowledge learned.

Imagination set on fire,
souls are set free,
Give in to your mind's desire,
new horizons to see.

From cover to cover,
new worlds to explore,
New adventures to discover,
and so much more!

So go ahead, take a look,
just open up your mind,
It is time to read a book,
just think of what you will find.

Too Right!
Loved this write Joe! I'm an avid reader and will hopefully pass the love of such a wonderful thing onto my children when I have them. When you read, you can go anywhere, be anyone, and do anything. Beautiful!
Love and Faith,
Heather René

You just caught me as I am about to take a trip to the library. My father use to say to me often educate your brain. My hubby is a book worm to lol. So much to be learned from books

Excellent Joe! It's the cheapest way to travel. You can go anywhere, do anything and see everything...all you have to do is crack the cover. Wonderful and worthwile post. So here's a 'high five' from a fellow readin' freak - Jude

Excellent advise...I get annoyed when youth says they are bored, when there is so very much to READ~!! Good message within your fine poem...
