Soft grass tugging gently at your skin

Falling asleep under the stars

Soft chilled breeze lifts your soul within

I believe a haiku is traditionally a nature write with the syllable count a pattern of 5-7-5. There is enough wood in your nice write to chop out some words and not lose the effect you created.

Ryan: it is a lovely poem;but, I'm not sure it is a Haiku.
