Excuse My Silence

I didn't know what to say. Excuse my silence?

I couldn't find the correct words. Excuse my silence?

I had to find the right way to say it. Excuse my silence?

I didn't want to offend you. Excuse my silence?

I forgot to reply. Excuse my silence?

I didn't answer your question. Excuse my silence?

I wanted you to know exactly how I felt. Excuse my silence?

I didn't want to stumble on my words. Excuse my silence?

I had to think before I spoke. Excuse my silence?

I felt like I needed more time. Excuse my silence?

I wanted you to completely understand me. Excuse my silence?

I felt like my words weren't strong enough. Excuse my silence?

My feelings for you are deeper than words. Excuse my silence?

I wanted to sound like how I felt. Excuse my silence?

I just wanted to listen. Excuse my silence?

I don't know how to begin. Excuse my silence?

I want you to know that my silence is not an excuse.

I don't mean for my silence to be so fustrating.

My silence cannot justify my feelings for you.

I can't tell you that I will never be silent again.

I am silent when it comes to matters and emotions that I don't completely understand.

It's a way that helps me through my words.

This silence of mine will take time to refine.

I want to say this right and ask you one more time....

Excuse my silence?

Author's Notes:
I feel like when I don't know how I really want to say something I become silent.

I do the same thing and my husband tells me I am giving him the silent scorn, when really all I'm doing is trying to figure out what I want to say. Very Good write I am adding it to my favs.
