Once And For All

ďOnce and for all, there is no Santa Clause

Or so they

Would have you believeÖ

But I know the truth

About Old Saint Nick

Iíve seen what heís got

Up his sleeve

Itís a seed that he plants

Each year at this time

For Peace,

Good will to man

Itís a random act

Of kindness

Itís the seed of

Something grand

Itís the steaming cup

Of Christmas cheer

That warms

A weary heart

And the sentimental

That tenderness

Tip your nose up

Take a deep breath

It fills

The very air

With poetry

And sonnet

Written as

A prayer

Santa Clause

Is everything

Thatís good within

Heís in every

Heartfelt image

Over time

For one twelfth

Of the solar spin

Real magic

Works its charm

As Santa Clause

And you and I

All walk

Arm in arm

So once and for all

Santa Clause lives

Red suit, white beard

And all

Why just last night

I spoke to him

He was at the

Oakdale Mall
