For a character

When everything was bad
And all I did was weep
Id picture your image inside of my mind
And will myself to sleep

You were so much more than a character
You gave me someone to look up too
And when I needed someone there for me
It was that character that I ran too

When I felt like no one would miss me
If I suddenly went away
I could look at you face and imagine
Enough to see another day

You gave me someone to be like
Someone who would always smile
And your face seemed so kind
Like one who would listen for awhile

I watched a sad episode tonight
And yes I admit I cried
For tonight my favorite character
Was shot in the head and died

Author's Notes:

the character is NCIS special agent Caitlyn Todd, played by Sasha Alexander. I know in NZ where i live we are behind in episodes so i only saw the season finale tonight. and it sucked for the fact that she died! (tears)
