From An Old Hippie

I have witnessed many sunsets

I have walked the forest floors

I have seen a double rainbow

Should I ask for any more

I have marveled at the moon

Sitting low and full and red

I have heard the Loviní Spoonful

I have seen the Greatful Dead

And you have let me love you

In spirit and commune

Forever flower child

Mistress of the moon

Together we have traveled

A true and steady course

For in the wonder of this wonder

I have seen the giving source
