The night, she burrowed her pale face,
within dawn's pink bossom bare;
and wrens came out to bid her well,
while myself, I just sat there.

I watched it all unfold this morn,
the day tucking in the night;
and oh how lonesome my soul became,
as I witnessed this nuptial site.

How long now have they been this way?
I can't say I can recall.
Centuries now, and still at it,
what a lesson for us all...

We could all learn from this, I suppose...Some things are just meant to go together...Day follows Night follows Day...joining together beautifully at dawn and dusk, sometimes leaving us with the most breath taking sights imaginable!
Ah, yes....
Now, if only all the other stuff went into physical relationships...Your "about" section really hits home.
Love ya!
